*THE OPPORTUNITY*
Join the award-winning RGO team, recognized as one of Alberta?s Best Workplaces and one of Canada?s Best Managed Companies, as a *Shipper/Receiver.* In this role, you?ll handle the receipt and storage of commercial furniture products from vendors and manage the pulling and loading of products for customer deliveries.
*WHAT YOU WILL DO*
* Receive incoming shipments manually, ensuring accurate quantity checks and documenting/reporting any damages or shortages. Report all damages/exceptions to the Warehouse Supervisor.
* Assist with offloading trailers. Tag and segregate product to correct locations for storage, shipment or delivery.
* Assist with customer pickups as necessary.
* Prepare and Coordinate product for shipment in a manner the product will arrive with no damages; this includes palletizing, protecting, wrapping, strapping, and securing items.
* Ensure warehouse is clean and all aisles are always kept clear.
* Assist with inventory control & yearly inventory counts.
* Assist with locating product as necessary.
* Perform yard and facility maintenance, including landscaping, lawn mowing, snow/ice removal, and keeping the exterior of the building clean.
*WHAT YOU WILL BRING*
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
* Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Possession of a valid driver?s license is an asset.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
* Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Experience in customer service.
* Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with professionalism, patience, and tact.
* Physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
