Cleve?s Source for Sports has been locally owned and operated for over 75 years and we are looking to grow our team! Our Team Sales Division is currently seeking a results-driven Customer Service Representative to join our team. Full time position is available immediately.
As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing customer inquiries, orders, and requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. A key aspect of this role involves partnering with sales representatives to support and deliver outstanding customer service.
*Responsibilities*
* *Customer Engagement*: Interact with customers via phone, email, and in-person to address inquiries, provide product information, and assist with order placement and tracking.
* *Order Management:* Process customer orders accurately, ensuring product specifications, quantities, and delivery details are precise. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
* *Problem Resolution:* Investigate and resolve customer complaints, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with internal departments to find effective solutions.
* *Product Knowledge:* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our corrugated box products, their features, and applications, enabling you to provide valuable information and recommendations to customers.
* *Documentation:* Maintain accurate and organized customer records, including order history, communication logs, and any special requirements or preferences.
* *Quality Assurance:* Ensure that customer orders meet quality standards and specifications, conducting quality checks as needed.
* *Team Collaboration:* Partner with a sales representative and collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and other team members to improve processes, share customer feedback, and contribute to the overall success of the department.
* *Relationship Building:* Foster strong relationships across various departments including Planning, Production, and Quality Control. Work closely with these teams to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
*What You Will Bring!*
* High school diploma or equivalent (University degree or relevant certifications preferred)
* Previous customer service experience of 2 years is preferred, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints with empathy and patience
* Detail-oriented with the capacity to accurately process orders and maintain records
* Proficiency in using standard office software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
