The Group is active in all segments of the aerospace industry (commercial, regional, business and military aircraft), in two areas of activity: Aerostructures and Interconnection Systems. The Group employs over 5,000 people in 14 countries.
In November 2022, Latecoere completed the acquisition of Canadian-domiciled Avcorp Industries, becoming Latecoere?s Aerostructures Canadian unit.
*Responsibilities*
· Prep parts and structures for paint (masking, sanding, plugging parts)
· Ensure the proper handling and maintenance of their painting equipment.
· Ability to understand importance of paint viscosity, bake times and mil thickness per customer specification
· Paint parts as per production schedule to the required specifications using the established fluid and air pressure for guns; check and measure parts before and after paint application to ensure quality specifications are achieved.
· Knowledge of safety equipment regarding the chemicals used in the area.
· Proficient with the use of computers to process work orders.
*Qualifications*
· A minimum of secondary school graduation diploma or equivalent.
· Completion or in progress of an Automotive Refinishing Program (in-house training would be made available).
· Knowledge of paint applications is mandatory.
· Possession of a BC or Interprovincial journeyman designation as an Industrial Painter or Automotive Painter an asset. Red seal certification qualifies potential candidates for TQ rate.
· Previous experience as spray painter and/or paint technician in an industrial environment is a definite asset.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various manuals, procedures, blueprints, instructions and graphs.

* Some areas have rotating shifts. Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings.
