*Responsibilities*
* Data entry for all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and payroll.
* Schedule weekly payments and record customer payments.
* Administer accounts receivable, including interacting with customers regarding unpaid invoices or short payments.
* Reconcile finished inventories and SKU components across multiple warehouses.
* Reconcile company bank accounts in both CAD and USD.
* Assist with administering payroll.
* Assist with preparing government information returns and filings.
* Work with management to produce quarterly and annual financial statements.
* Work with management to prepare and file income taxes.
* Maintain and organize financial and accounting records.
* Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve any financial issues or respond to queries.
* Other miscellaneous tasks as requested from time to time.
*Qualifications*
* Post-secondary education in a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
* Experience with inventory based bookkeeping an asset.
* Proficiency with accounting and Microsoft software.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to self-check your work.
* Excellent time management, organizational and record keeping skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Calm and professional manner in dealing with people inside and outside the company
* Natural problem solver with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
* Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
* Enthusiasm for working in a small team environment.
*Job Details*
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week).
Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible hours.
Wage: $28 to $32 per hour.
