*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team. As a *Sales Engineer* at Demtroys, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by combining your technical expertise with strong communication and sales skills. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will work closely with our sales and technical teams to deliver Demtroys' energy management solutions to clients. You?ll be responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting solutions, and supporting our clients from the pre-sales phase through post-sales implementation. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the sales process, collaborating with other teams to achieve revenue goals.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Client Needs Assessment*: Engage with clients to understand their building configuration and energy management needs, and propose suitable Demtroys solutions.
*Technical Presentations: *Provide detailed product presentations and demonstrations, both in-person and remotely, to showcase the value of Demtroys' offerings.
*Proposal Development*: Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, including cost estimates, ROI projections, technical specifications, and project timelines.
*After-Sales Support*: Once sales are completed, support customers during installation and commissioning; Help troubleshoot technical issues and provide continuous support and communication.
*Customer Relationship Management*: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or referrals.
*Feedback to Product Team*: Relay customer feedback to the product development and engineering teams, suggesting improvements or new features.
*Market and Competition Monitoring*: Monitor market trends and competitors, contributing insights to the product development and marketing teams.
*Sales Team Training*: Provide technical training to the sales team, ensuring they are well-versed in the company?s products and can communicate effectively.
*Qualifications:*
· *Education*: Technical degree or bachelor?s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
*Experience*: 3-5 years in a technical sales role, preferably within energy management, HVAC, or building automation industries.
*Technical Skills*: Strong understanding of energy management systems, HVAC, building automation, and related technologies.
*Communication Skills*: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
*Sales Acumen*: Proven ability to support the closing of sales deals in a B2B environment; Proven results on delivery of performance objectives and sales targets (meeting or exceeding goals)
*Problem-Solving*: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to recommend effective solutions.
*Collaboration*: Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product development, and customer support teams.
*Customer Focus*: Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
*Flexibility and mobility: *Ability to work flexible hours, some travel will be required for client meetings and demonstrations
*Other qualifications:*
* Familiarity with energy efficiency, green building standards, sustainable technologies, energy monitoring and IoT technologies.
* Experienced user of CRM software.
