As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor all aspects of trucking operations, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipments to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
* Collaborate with carriers and drivers to arrange pick-up and delivery schedules while optimizing route efficiency.
* Communicate with customers to provide shipment status updates, address inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Manage and maintain transportation documentation, such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and other relevant records.
* Work closely with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and warehouse, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics operations.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in transportation operations.
* Act as the main point of contact for drivers and carriers, addressing any operational concerns promptly and professionally.
* Proactively address potential delays or disruptions in delivery schedules and implement contingency plans when necessary.
* Collaborate with the logistics team to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in efficiency and service quality.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.
* Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the trucking or 3PL industry.
* Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and other logistics software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with carriers, drivers, and customers.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
* Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift

* Monday to Friday

* Coquitlam, BC V3K 6A8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
