<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Accounting/Office Administrator</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><strong>Accounts Payable</strong></p><p>• Process and enter supplier invoices and credit memos in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with payment terms and procedures</p><p>• Obtain proper authorization for purchase order and non-purchase order invoices</p><p>• Correctly allocate and enter invoices based on their G/L code</p><p>• Address internal and external accounts payable inquiries in a professional, timely, and courteous manner</p><p>• Prepare <span class="long-word">reports/spreadsheets</span> as required</p><p>• Prepare and vendor cheques for outgoing mail</p><p>• Compile credit card receipts and reconcile company credit card statements</p><p>• Generate monthly reports with month-end closing, ensuring all entries are correct</p><p>• Perform other accounts payable and related clerical duties as required</p><p><strong>Accounts Receivable</strong></p><p>• Assist the general manager in the annual collection of all production, sales, and inventory data</p><p>• Accurately generate levy collection invoices</p><p>• Assist in collections, including calling dealers to obtain accurate contact information and sending copies of requested invoices/documents</p><p><strong>Admin/Other</strong></p><p>• Receive and direct calls, packages, collect mail, and other deliveries</p><p>• Manage the primary office email account</p><p>• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and direct them accordingly</p><p>• Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling meetings, and being present at monthly and annual meetings to document accurate minutes</p><p>• General day-to-day housekeeping of the office</p><p>• Manage the copying, filing, and archiving of documents</p><p>• Maintain/order office supplies as needed</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and assist in the implementation of new systems</p><p>• Other duties as required</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:</strong></p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, allowing for efficient document management and financial reporting</p><p>• Proven experience in accounts payable and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the pervasive impact of accounting entries in the broader financial context</p><p>• Proficiency in data collection, entry, and reporting, executed with a high attention to detail</p><p>• Proven skills in accuracy, efficiency, and time management, crucial for meeting financial deadlines</p><p>• Flexible and open to changing priorities and multi-tasking</p><p>• A team-oriented approach with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, contributing to a harmonious work environment</p><p>• Experience in Agriculture is an asset</p><p>Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week), Permanent</p><p>Pay: Hourly depending on experience</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Casual dress</li><li>Extended health care</li></ul><p>Schedule:</p><ul><li>Monday to Friday - with flexibility</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)</li></ul><p>Language:</p><ul><li>English (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person - Coaldale, Alberta with flexibility</p></div></div>
