Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Wet/damp. Noisy. Odours. Dusty. Dangerous. Dirty. Work setting: Office building. Cleaning service company. School or educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers. Prepare budget and cost estimates. Assist cleaners in performing duties. Co-ordinate work activities with other departments. Establish work schedules. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Personal suitability: Client focus. Dependability.
