Tasks: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment. Repair cable signals. Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment. Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software. Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other support structures. Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
