Do you excel in providing exceptional client service while working in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment in which you learn every day?McInnes Cooper is seeking a motivated and proactive Litigation Legal Assistant to join our Litigation Legal Support Services team in our Moncton office in a full-time permanent position. The incumbent will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support for a group of lawyers within an innovative team support model and working to ensure all clients receive the highest level of service.As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for:Ensuring lawyers' practices are organized efficiently, including calendar management, email correspondence, phone calls, meeting logistics and preparation, and travel arrangements;Liaising with clients and ensuring their expectations are consistently exceeded;Document preparation duties including preparing letters, transcribing documents, scanning, printing, and making copies;File management including opening and closing files and managing documents, both in paper and electronic formats;Arranging deliveries and couriers;Preparing client invoices and expense claims; and,Assisting with meeting room preparation and audio-visual equipment setup.The successful candidate will possess the following skill set:The ideal candidate will have a Legal Administration or Paralegal diploma or other related education;Minimum of two (2) years experience, preferably within the litigation field;Excel in a demanding, fast-paced team environment, be highly detail-oriented, and flexible to changing priorities;Exceptional technology skills, with proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office and a genuine interest in keeping up to date with the newest technology;Exceptional communication skills, a special focus on client service, and the highest degree of professionalism; and,A positive attitude and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.Our team members have access to:Defined-benefit pension plan;Firm-paid health and dental benefits;Health spending account;Personal (wellness) spending account;Time for you:Including vacation, personal, and sick days.Balancing life:Work from home / Flex work options available for many team members.Our Team - we can't say enough about our people!
