Pro Edge Management is presently seeking to add a highly motivated individual for a property manager position to join our growing family. The property manager will work alongside with the Housing Administrator while providing administrative and maintenance support enabling our Executive Team to achieve/exceed the goals and key performance indicator targets of our company and our client.

As a member our on site(s) management team, the key responsibilities of a *Property Manager *include but are not limited to:
*Duties and responsibilities include:*
* Knowledge of the Non-Profit and Co-operative Housing sector
* Provide supervision, give direction, delegate to administrative and maintenance staff
* Familiarity with acts and codes including the fire, building codes, AODA Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Ontario)
* Experience in building maintenance and adhering to monthly timeline maintenance schedule
* In depth understanding financial statements, operating budget and audit
* Issuing purchase orders and managing, directing contractors and inspecting after completion to ensure high quality of work
* Perform detailed common areas and unit inspections and provide follow-up and reports when required
* Review and evaluate repairs and maintenance requests to ensure they meet budgetary and operational expenses
* Preparation of monthly board meeting package
* Knowledge and experience of LTB proceedings as it relates to the process of serving Notices relating to non-rental payments, anti-social behavior, illegal activity, etc.
*Skills and Experience*
To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess the following combination of education, experience and skills:
* 3 or more years' experience in property management and knowledge of property administrative and maintenance practices
* Knowledge of various legislation, including the RTA (Resident Tenancies Act), HSA (Housing Services Act)
* Experience working in the Non-Profit / Co-op housing sector
* Experience utilizing Yardi/Newviews or similar financial software
* Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
* Have strong interpersonal and communication skills and experience working with diverse populations, as well as excellent written communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
* Possess excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
* Have strong conflict management skills and be able to problem-solve issues with empathy, professionalism, and well-maintained boundaries
* Demonstrates a high degree of integrity
