Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities. Sell travel products and travel insurance. Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events. Attend to cancellations and schedule changes. Develop contact lists. Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing system. Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs. Travel bookings: Group travel. Domestic travel. International travel.
