Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools. Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite. Computer-aided design (CAD). Equipment and machinery experience: Sawing machine. Surface grinders. Saws. Area of work experience: Fabrication. Repetitive machining operation experience: Milling. Honing. Grinding. Equipment: Single purpose production machine. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Reliability.
