Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Tasks: Clean work area. Operate and control: electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts. Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings. Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat. Type of paints or coatings: Metallized coatings. Application methods: Automated spray painting. Hand-held spray guns. Equipment and machinery experience: Callipers. Metal spray equipment. Micrometers. Thermal spray equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination.
