*Job Summary:*
Have a passion for food and drink? Love working in a fast-paced environment? Come and join us at The Lunar Rogue Pub! We?re looking for 2 people to join our kitchen team at our established pub in the heart of downtown Fredericton. If you have a knack for preparing high-quality dishes, have attention to detail, presentation, and taste, and take pride in keeping a clean and organized kitchen; we would love to hear from you.
*Duties:*
* Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
* Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
* Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
* Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times.
* Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
* Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages.
*Requirement:*
* Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food service industry (ie 3+ yrs or high volume line cook experience).
* Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
* Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Availability evenings, weekends, holidays.
*Assets:*
* Food Safety certification (training provided).
* Previous supervisory experience.
* Certification from a culinary school is an asset but not required.
* Knowledgeable in all stations.
*Additional Information:*

* 6-8 hour shifts, weekly hours
