Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: Urban area. Associations and non profit organizations. Tasks: Assess people's physical limitations, orientation abilities and mobility to establish client rehabilitation. Instruct in the use of rehabilitative techniques, prosthetic devices and wheelchairs. Develop individualized education and intervention plans based on special needs of client to facilitate their readaptation and independence objectives. Supervise office and volunteer staff. Supervise professional and support staff and students. Maintain accurate records. Initiate, design and implement specialized therapy programs. Implement treatment plans. Participate in fundraising activities. Design specialized therapy programs to maintain, rehabilitate or enhance movement, musculoskeletal functioning and performance in sports, work and recreation. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Rehabilitation or Special Education Certificate. Target audience: Children. Persons with physical disabilities. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office. Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
