*Property Manager*
*General Scope *
MARDA Management Inc. is a full service property management company, managing property of all sizes. MARDA Management Inc. provides services that include showing vacancies, screening tenants, signing leases, collecting rent, evicting tenants, fielding tenant requests and complaints and spearheading maintenance requirements and renovation projects of all types.
*Specific Accountabilities*
The Property Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing day to day management of our client accounts, ensuring the seamless onboarding of new accounts, addressing major repair projects, and managing challenging tenant behaviours or rent payment issues. The Property Manager provides support for all members of the property management team as needed ensuring top-notch service and effective communication with both property owners and tenants.
*Client Management *
* Using the established client journey process to execute the comprehensive onboarding of new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition for both property owners and tenants
* Ensure the set up new properties in the company?s software system ensuring all applicable service agreements are setup
* Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that vacancies are filled in a timely manner
* Handle high-level communications with property owners, educating them on company processes and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
* Meet in person with clients or their agents when they are visiting the rental property
* Address all day-to-day client inquiries via phone, text, and email promptly
* Collaborate with tenant services team to ensure clients are regularly updated as to all rent/damage collection efforts and/or legal steps taken to resolve payment or behavioural issues at their property
* Address and resolve expense inquiries made by clients
* Ensure timely payments by clients.
* Maintain open and clear communication lines with all stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and maintain the company?s good standing reputation
*Maintenance & Repair*
* Collaborate with the maintenance team lead on significant project repairs.
* Secure 50% deposits for maintenance work exceeding $1000.
* Review and monitor all maintenance activities requiring owner approval
* Participate in the after hours on-call rotation ( approximately once every 6-10 weeks)
*Qualifications and skills*
* 2-5 years of experience in property management or a related field.
* Proven Client Management capabilities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficient in use of computers and standard office software
* Knowledge of property management regulations and best practices.
* Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism
* Must have drivers license and vehicle that is available for daily use to execute responsibilities
* Must obtain and submit a police clearance
* Must participate in rotating on call shift of 1 week
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
