This position will appeal to those who like to work in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multitask and have a high standard for their work.The RoleAs a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for:Providing professional, courteous customer serviceCoordinating, confirming, and dispatching all loadsEnsuring all pertinent system information is entered accurately and in a timely fashionProfessionally handle issues raised by driversManaging the availability of the drivers and equipmentA successful candidate will: Be goal-orientatedBe self-motivated, flexible and professionalHave strong interpersonal skills and be a team playerPossess great communication and computer skillsHave strong analytical skills with an ability to make service-oriented decisions while still demonstrating cost effectiveness Must be able to multi-task in a busy environmentHave excellent customer service skillsHave a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the transportation industryBe proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and be willing to adapt in an ever-changing environmentAnd have a clear result of a pre-employment criminal background check, as per company policyCooke offers full-time year round employment, competitive rates and a competitive benefits package which includes health and dental as well as a company matched pension.
