Innivec is looking for an Instructional Design Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of educational and training materials. This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and the ability to manage and mentor a team of instructional designers to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
*Duties and responsibilities*
*Leadership and Management:*
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of instructional designers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
* Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of multiple instructional design projects.
* Ensure the instructional design team meets project deadlines and quality standards.
*Strategic Planning:*
* Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement a strategic vision for the organization?s training and development programs.
* Identify opportunities for improving training effectiveness and organizational performance.
* Develop and manage the instructional design budget.
*Design and Development:*
* Oversee the creation of instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and other educational content.
* Ensure instructional materials are developed using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
* Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, and video into training materials.
*Quality Assurance:*
* Establish and maintain quality standards for instructional design and development
* processes.
* Conduct reviews and evaluations of instructional materials to ensure they meet
* organizational standards and learner needs.
* Implement continuous improvement processes based on feedback and evaluation data.
*Collaboration and Communication:*
* Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate training programs with business initiatives.
* Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding training strategies, progress, and outcomes.
*Qualifications:*
*Education and Experience:*
* Bachelor?s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field (Master?s degree preferred).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
* Extensive experience with eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
*Skills and Abilities:*
* Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and eLearning development processes.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience with multimedia production, including graphics, audio, and video.
* Knowledge of current and emerging learning technologies and trends.
* Professional certifications in instructional design or project management (e.g., CPTD, PMP).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
