Public Health Nurse Advisor's provide advice, guidance and assistance to nurses, Health Directors and clients in First nation communities on public health.As a Public Health Nurse Advisor you will:• be required to travel to northern First Nations communities a minimum of one (1) week each month;• conduct monitoring activities (e.g. site visits), verify compliance with standards, assess/evaluate public health programs;• participate in the identification of training needs for public health professionals; develop and deliver training, information and education sessions which includes presentations virtually and in person;• participate with orientating new hires to public health community based programs;• coordinate conferences and meetings with internal/external stakeholders virtually and in person. This could include coordination with community leadership;• provide advice on Immunizations, TB program, STBBI, Harm Reduction etc. via phone, email and during monthly in pers- LocationWinnipeg, MB
