Education: College/CEGEP. Architectural technology/technician. Work setting: Institutional. Tasks: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD). Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD). Analyze technical documents and reports. Assist in supervising construction projects. Prepare working drawings. Assist in design development. Prepare presentation graphics and drawings. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD. Autodesk REVIT. Architectural specialization: Commercial and/or industrial construction. Residential construction. Area of specialization: College and university education. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Attention to detail. Sitting. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Initiative. Organized. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you currently reside in proximity to the advertised location?.
