Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas. Assemble tower cranes on site. Operate dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines. Perform routine maintenance work. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification. Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA). Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) basic safety orientation (BSO). Mobile Crane Operator Trade Certification. Hoisting Licence. Mobile Crane Operator Red Seal Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Confined Space Entry Training. Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Type of cranes: Hydraulic or telescoping boom. Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check. Responsibilities
Tasks
