Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work site environment: Noisy. At heights. Confined spaces. Outdoors. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Tasks: Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety. Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems. Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports. Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble. Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AME «S» Licence - Structures. CAMC Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certification. Aircraft experience: Large jet airplanes. Large turboprops. Small jet airplane. Small turboprops. Structural repair experience - aircraft: Aircraft structures - general. Aircraft sheet metal structures. Aircraft composite structures. Type of industry experience: Repair and overhaul facility. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail.
